Key Environmental & Safety Rules
- No Camping Within 3 km of Lake Water: National Green Tribunal orders strictly prohibit pitching tents on the lakeshore to preserve fragile wetlands. All commercial camps operate at the designated campsite 3 km prior.
- Vehicle Parking Restrictions: Tourist vehicles park at the designated base; guests complete the final 1.5 km scenic walk along a gentle trail.
- Thermal Layering & Sub-Zero Night Temperatures: Night temperatures drop below freezing even in July. Swiss tents must feature double-layer canvas, thermal mattresses, and heavy fleece duvets.
